Calling all 80s Kids and Shower Singers: Viral sensation Choir! Choir! Choir!” set to take over the Capitol Theatre in an Epic 80s Singalong!
On Sunday, April 16 at 7:00 pm, the Chatham Capitol Theatre presents Choir! Choir! Choir! Epic 80s Singalong, the final event in the 2022-2023 Capitol Theatre Presents series.
Choir! Choir! Choir! is the singing sensation that has swept the nation! With tens of millions of YouTube views and an avid fan base around the world, Nobu Adilman and Daveed Goldman have taken group choral singing to a new level, blurring the lines between artist and audience, practice, and performance. Over the course of the show, the audience becomes the choir, learning a favourite 80s song from scratch and performing it live.

Choir! has performed with renowned artists such as Patti Smith, David Byrne, Rick Astley, Tegan and Sara, and Rufus Wainwright, and onstage at New York’s Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall with the likes of Debbie Harry and The Flaming Lips. They have created content for NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar with Hamilton’s Brandon Victor Dixon; performed at the MET in New York for New York Pride; and paid tribute to Canadian music hero, Gord Downie, by performing Grace Too with the surviving members of the Tragically Hip to 10,000 fans in Toronto.
