The Homeless Response Line is a centralized "after-hours" point of contact for people in crisis and who are experiencing emergency homelessness in Chatham-Kent.
If you are currently experiencing homelessness, please contact Employment and Social Services by calling 519-351-8573 or emailing
ckess@chatham-kent.ca during regular office hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm). You will meet with a case manager to discuss your situation and create a rapid re-housing plan.
If you experience homelessness after hours, on weekends or holidays, the CK Homeless Response Line is available by calling 519-354-6628. Callers will be directed to safe temporary housing with family/friends or referred to local emergency accommodations. A case manager from Employment and Social Services will contact you the following business day to discuss the next steps.
