Councillor Alysson Storey

Alysson Storey

Alysson Storey was born and raised in Chatham, has a double major in History & Art History from Queen's University, and has spent most of her career in the cultural sector, both across Canada and abroad. After a significant period of time working for the federal, provincial and municipal governments, Alysson has spent the past decade working as a communications and strategic planning consultant for a variety of clients across Canada including agtech, arts, culture and heritage, municipal government and finance. 

In her role as Councillor, Alysson is on the Board of Directors, Ontario Caucus of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, as well as Council Representative for the Accessibility Advisory Committee and the Chatham-Kent Public Library Board. She is the Chair of the CK Celebration of Older Adults and was an interim Board member of the Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit for the first year of the Council term. 

​This is Councillor Storey's first term on Council representing Ward 6.
