On August 11, 2025 Council approved the Golf Cart Pilot Program in the Community of Erieau.
How to register online:
- Pay the $75 permit fee over the phone by calling 311 or payment may be made at any Municipal Office.
- Once payment is received, you may complete the Golf Cart Registration application.
Application FormRequirements for completing application:
- Confirmation of payment (transaction number from your receipt)
- Your driver's licence number
- Description of the golf cart
- Photos of the front and back of the golf cart, showing the required safety features (see FAQs below for more details)
- Certificate of insurance or letter from your insurer providing some proof of required insurance that specifically notes coverage for use on municipal roads (see FAQs below for more details)
The Municipality's Licensing Services staff will review your application and documents. If all requirements are met, the application will be approved and you will be contacted about an appointment. At the appointment you will sign a Waiver and pick up your Golf Cart Validation sticker.
