Committees of Council are groups made up of community members and sometimes Council representatives who work together to provide advice and recommendations on specific issues, projects, or services in Chatham-Kent. These committees give residents an opportunity to share their knowledge, experience, and perspectives, helping Council make informed decisions that reflect the needs and interests of the community.
Encampment Advisory Committee Member Recruitment
The Encampment Advisory Committee is looking to fill three vacancies. The vacancies are specific to the following position requirments:
- One member from the Northside Neighbours Association and/or resident how has prevously lived near a shelter or encampment
- One member from a Community Group or Persons with Lived or Living Expertise
- One Member who is a Business Owner and/or Operator, drawn from the Northside Neighours Association
