Damaged or Malfunctioning Streetlights
Entegrus Inc. maintains streetlights on behalf of our Public Works Department. Fill out the
Report a Streetlight Outage Form on the Entegrus website to report damaged or malfunctioning streetlights. Information required includes contact info, the nearest address and the pole number.
Immunization Records
Keep your family health records up-to-date by reporting your immunizations to Public Health. Visit the
Chatham-Kent Public Health Immunization Reporting website to submit your information.
Property Damage Claims
Damage to property can be upsetting and disruptive. However, it's important to understand that the Municipality of Chatham-Kent is not an insurer for the public.
Most property damage claims made against the Municipality are not reimbursable, as municipal divisions regularly meet or exceed standard service levels. For example, claims for damage caused by driving over potholes are generally not reimbursable, because the Municipality's service levels align with the standards set by the Province of Ontario under the Ontario Minimum Maintenance Standards and staff are diligent in meeting those standards.

If you have auto or property insurance, we recommend contacting your insurance company or broker first for advice on how to deal with your loss.
