Skateboard Parks

Chatham-Kent has 10 exciting skate parks throughout the area for all skill levels. From jumps, corners, steps and runs there is something for everyone to practice their skills and be active outdoors!

Safety First: Enjoy use of the skate parks year-round until dusk, depending on weather conditions. We do not supervise the skate parks and you use them at your own risk. The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is not responsible for any losses, damages or injuries resulting from the use of the skate park. We ask that all park users follow the guidelines below to reduce risk and ensure the enjoyment and safety of all:

  • Wear the gear (helmet, elbow and kneepads).
  • Dry surfaces are the safest. Wet or icy conditions are dangerous. Do not use the skate park when dangerous conditions exist.
  • Take turns.
  • Place all garbage in the containers provided.
  • Inspect the skate park prior to using it to ensure safe conditions.

Chatham-Kent Public Health endorses the Parachute recommendations for skateboarding safety.  Visit the Parachute website for more information on choosing a skateboard that's right for you, as well as skating safety and injury prevention.
