Tax Certificates

​We offer two services that provide more information on property taxes. Verbal confirmation of tax certificates will be provided to purchasers up to 30 days following the date it is issued.

Property Tax Information Service

This service allows subscribers to search for property information which provides details on the property and offers mapping information, for an annual subscription fee of $100. The service also provides the ability to request and receive an online Certificate of Taxes for $50.00.

Tax Certificate Requests

We will issue a Certificate of Taxes on any land or parcel for a prepaid fee of $80.00 per roll number. Mail your request along with a cheque made payable to the Municipality of Chatham-Kent to:

Certificates of Taxes can also be purchased over the phone. Get in touch with our Call Centre by calling 519-360-1998 to make payment over the phone with your credit card and be provided an electronic receipt by email. Upon delivery of the receipt, email your detailed request including the physical address and roll number of the property, along with the receipt, to ckar@chatham-kent.ca to have the request processed.
