To become a lifeguard, you are required to pass specific Canadian Red Cross courses:
Register for Lifeguard Courses
Bronze Medallion: Age 13+ or Bronze Star
Bronze Cross: Bronze Medallion and Emergency First Aid
National Lifeguard: Age 15+, Bronze Cross, and Standard First Aid
Swim Instructor Courses
To become a swim instructor, you are required to pass specific Canadian Red Cross courses:
