Fitness, Fun & Lifesaving Sport

Jr. Lifeguard Club - Ages 8-15

The program offers a combination of Lifesaving Sport with an added emphasis on introductory rescues and first aid skills. The Jr. Lifeguard program is for swimmers between levels or programs, or who would like to continue improving their strokes and swimming competency.

1st Step: Bronze Medallion & Emergency First Aid

2nd Step: Bronze Cross & Standard First Aid

Swim Instructor Course Pathway

1st step: Swim Instructor

2nd Step: (Optional) Lifesaving Instructor

  • Pre-req:
    • 15 years of age
    • Successful completion of Bronze Cross
    • Successful completion of Assistant Lifesaving Instructor
    • Experience teaching the Swim Program recommended​
