Leaf and Yard Depots

​​​​​​​​​​The Municipality of Chatham-Kent operates ten leaf and yard depots to support responsible yard waste disposal and promote sustainable landscaping practices. These depots are available to all residents; however, contractor access and fees vary by location. All depots are cash only and closed on statutory holidays.

​Yard Waste Sustainability Tips

Residents are encouraged to mulch grass clippings and leave them on the lawn to reduce waste and improve lawn health. All yard waste delivered to depots is ground into mulch and made available free of charge to residents for use in gardens and landscaping.​
