Investing in Today. Empowering Tomorrow. The 2024-2027 multi-year budget deliberation process will begin on Tuesday, November 28. Administration has come forward with a proposed 6.57% increase for 2024, with an average four year increase of 7.82% during the 2024 – 2027 Multi-Year Budget.
Deliberation meetings are being held in Council Chambers on the following dates and times:
- Tuesday, November 28 from 6:00 to 10:00 pm
- Wednesday, November 29 from 6:00 to 10:00 pm
- Thursday, November 30 from 6:00 to 10:00 pm
If more time is required, Tuesday, December 5 and Wednesday, December 6 have also been set aside. All budget meetings will be held in-person in the Council Chambers at the Civic Centre as well as livestreamed on YourTV CK’s YouTube Channel.
Anyone wishing to make a deputation can do so at the first night of deliberations on November 28. Requests and submissions must be sent by email to ckfps@chatham-kent.ca before 12:00 noon on this date.
