NOTICE – Comments on the draft Rental Renovation Licence By-law and proposed options are currently being collected through the Let's Talk Chatham-Kent forum starting May 1 through May 20, 2026.
A survey regarding renovictions was conducted from April 1 to 30, 2026. A Report to Council and a summary of all of the comments received will be presented to Council on June 22, 2026. For questions or more information, please email cklicensing@chatham-kent.ca.

What does this mean?
Administration will review, a public process will be held, and a draft by-law and report to Council will be presented no later than June 22, 2026.
