Acclaimed Artist Zachari Logan to exhibit at the Thames Art Gallery

The team at CK Arts + Culture are delighted to welcome visitors to Cultivation Blues, the next exhibition at the Thames Art Gallery. The exhibition will reveal self-portraiture as a specific and important thread through Zachari Logan’s practice over the last 15 years. Logan visually references Western art-history to question and expand gender and masculinity norms. Logan’s work emphasizes the viewpoint of human as nature.

Zachari Logan is best known for drawings that combine hyper-realistic flora and the male body on large scale paper works. Cultivation Blues will present examples of this and his work in other media including ceramics, painting, work on fabric, and installation. Poetry from Logan’s recent publication “green.” will also be incorporated into the exhibition.

The gallery invites the public to attend an opening reception on July 17, 2026, from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm where the artist will be on hand to describe some of their work. Cultivation Blues will be exhibited from July 18 to October 11, 2026. The Thames Art Gallery welcomes visitors Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, with extended hours Saturdays until 6:00 pm. Admission is by donation.
