From February 24 to March 5, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent’s CK Jobs team is hosting a weeklong event called Workforce Week to empower both employers and job seekers within Chatham-Kent.
Throughout the week, there will be in-person and virtual events aimed at providing resources for residents to help find jobs, apprenticeships, or start a new career. There will also be seminars for local businesses on talent attraction and retention supports.
The weeklong event concludes on March 5, with the Workforce Week Job Fair at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre in Chatham from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This event will host a variety of employers and job seekers will have the opportunity to discover exciting job opportunities and take the next step in their career.
