Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is undering a NAARS Transformation Initiative (of the Needs and Assets Assessment Referral Services). Communities of Practice (CoPs) are being identified to play a critical role in shaping how newcomer assessment, referral, and coordination function at the local level.
Regionally, the Chatham-Kent Local Immigration Partnership (CK LIP) and Windsor Essex Local Immigration Partnership (WE LIP) are hosting an initial meeting with IRCC as part of launching the NAARS Transformation Initiative. The first document provides essential background on NAARS, the national transformation underway, and the purpose of the Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent Community of Practice. The second document describes the purpose of Communities of Practice (CoPs) – as determined by IRCC – as collaborative forums designed to support learning, coordination, and continuous improvement during the transformation. It outlines what organizations can expect from the first meeting, and how CoPs will contribute to future decisions related to service coordination, leadership, and potential implementation of the Dedicated NAARS Service Provider (DNS) model.
SEBAA Communité de pratique
Alors qu'Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada (IRCC) met en œuvre l'Initiative de transformation des SEBAA, les Communautés de pratique (CdP) joueront un rôle clé dans l'évolution des pratiques d'évaluation, d'aiguillage et de coordination des services aux nouveaux arrivants à l'échelle locale.
Le premier document offre un aperçu clair des SEBAA, de la transformation nationale en cours et du rôle de la Communauté de pratique conjointe de Windsor-Essex et de Chatham-Kent. Il constitue une lecture essentielle pour les organisations invitées à participer à la première rencontre de la CdP et pour les directions souhaitant comprendre les répercussions de ces changements sur la prestation des services et la collaboration régionale.
