Pourquoi Chatham-Kent?
Vivre dans la municipalité de Chatham-Kent a tous les avantages d'une petite ville et je suis très reconnaissante de tout ce qu'elle a offert et continue à offrir ma famille et ma carrière au fil des années.
Comme jeune fille, j'ai grandi dans le petit village rural de Pain Court, mon mari Chris à Grande Pointe, où nos racines françaises nous ont réunis lorsque nous avons fréquenté l'école secondaire de Pain Court. Quand nous nous sommes mariés, nous avons choisi de nous installer dans la "grande ville" de Chatham, où nous élevons avec bonheur nos belles filles Ava et Clara. Nous avons profité de tout ce que Chatham-Kent a à offrir, les défilés et les festivals, les belles plages et le camping. Il y a eu beaucoup de bons souvenirs ici!
Mon autre passion, autre que ma famille, c'est ma carrière d'éducatrice de la petite enfance agréée. Je suis très reconnaissante d'avoir travaillé pendant plus de 15 ans dans une communauté aussi sécuritaire, attentionnée et solidaire, axée sur les familles. Présentement, mon rôle d'éducatrice de la petite enfance bilingue de la division des services de garde et la petite enfance pour la municipalité, me permet d'utiliser mes compétences en français et de partager la culture avec les familles et certains des plus jeunes citoyens de Chatham-Kent.
Ce sont quelques-unes des nombreuses raisons pour lesquelles je recommande de vivre, de travailler et de jouer à Chatham-Kent ! CK all the way!

Why Chatham-Kent?
Living within the Municipality of Chatham-Kent has all the benefits of that small-town life and I am so thankful for all that it has offered and continues to offer my family and career over the years.
As a young girl, I grew up in the small rural village of Pain Court, my husband Chris in Grande Pointe, where our French roots would eventually bring us together while attending high school at École Secondaire de Pain Court. When we got married, we chose to move to the ''big city'' of Chatham where we are happily raising our two beautiful daughters Ava and Clara. We have enjoyed everything Chatham-Kent has to offer, from the parades and festivals to the beautiful beaches and camping. There have been plenty of happy memories made here!
My other passion besides my family has been my career as a Registered Early Childhood Educator. I am so grateful to have worked over 15 years in such a safe, caring and supportive community centred on families. Within my current role as a Bilingual Early Years Educator for the Child Care & Early Years department with the Municipality, it has allowed me to utilize my French language skills and to share the culture with families and some of the youngest citizens of Chatham-Kent.
