Community Attraction and Promotion Campaign a Finalist at EDCO Awards of Excellence
The Municipality of Chatham-Kent's Community Attraction and Promotion marketing campaign titled That's LivingCK has been selected as a finalist at the Economic Developers Council of Ontario (EDCO) Awards of Excellence, to be announced at the EDCO President's Dinner and Awards Ceremony on January 31st 2019.
That's LivingCK is an ongoing branding initiative developed to answer the question "what does it really mean to live in Chatham-Kent?" The primary goal of the campaign is to attract new residents to Chatham-Kent and to retain existing residents by reminding them of the positive aspects of living in CK. That's LivingCK provides snapshots into what Chatham-Kent offers in the key areas of Affordability, Arts and Culture, Community, Entertainment, Outdoor Recreation, and Entrepreneurship.
The campaign consists of video, print and digital media, with a cornerstone 30-second video shot locally featuring CK residents and their experiences. The 30-second video is an amalgamation of footage from a six video series reflecting some of the great aspects of living in Chatham-Kent. Award entries are evaluated by a judging panel with expertise in marketing, communications, tourism, and industrial/commercial development.
