Settlement Services

Many services, including immigrant settlement services, have adjusted their service delivery to adhere to the new guidelines. Chatham-Kent based settlement service, Adult Language and Learning has cancelled a number of programs to ensure the health and safety of staff, clients, and the public.

  • No in-person services

  • No language and learning classes

  • No childcare

  • No youth programs

Office and Settlement Services staff are available to communicate with clients online or by phone, Monday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The office will be closed on Fridays. Adult Language and Learning can be reached at 519-354-7424 or by email at info@adultlanguageandlearning.ca.

Social Distancing

  • Keep your children away from group settings

  • Work from home when able

  • Postpone or cancel group gatherings

  • Avoid handshaking and other physical contact

  • Avoid all non-essential trips into the community
