What was your first job?
Working at Naples Pizza in Blenheim.
What is your favourite Chatham-Kent pastime?
Attending the multitude of fun festivals and events that happen each year; Cherry Fest in Blenheim is always a good time, Thamesville’s Corn maze and the concerts in Chatham’s Tecumseh Park, just to name a few!
What is your favourite season?
Fall. The leaves changing and the crops coming off. It’s just a busy time and beautiful sight.
Who was your local inspiration/role model?
The many from across CK who come together to support something valuable to our community. I admire the work so many people do to make CK a worthwhile place to live and work.
What did you do after high school?
Attended Mohawk College in Hamilton, ON for 1 year in the Marketing program. After, I completed my two-year Recreation and Leisure Services diploma at Fanshawe College in London.
What are you doing now?
I am the Program/Recreation Supervisor at the Blenheim Youth Centre. I am also graduating this semester from St.Clair College in the Chemical Dependency Counsellor program.
Why did you come back to Chatham-Kent?
To raise my family here and be part of the community that helped shape me into the person I am today. To live in a place where you aren’t just a face in the crowd and can make an impact.
