Heading out to our family cottage in Rondeau Provincial Park. I really enjoyed the different activities growing up and exploring what Rondeau had to offer.

It would have to be summer, although I enjoy all of the seasons, who can complain about a hot sunny day in July or August - From summer BBQ’s to biking to playing outdoor sports, I love to keep busy.
Name an experience that has positively motivated you.
Growing up playing travel hockey really motivated me to compete and push myself everyday. That is what I try to translate into my career and lifestyle, do not ever be complacent always strive for more.
What did you do after high school?
I completed my Honours Bachelor of Business Administration at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo. I was roommates with 4 very close friends, two of which are now back living and working in Chatham, and one is working with me at Collins Barrow. I wrote my final accounting exam 2013 (UFE) and obtained my CPA, CA designation in July 2015.
What are you doing now?
I am a Senior Accountant at Collins Barrow here in Chatham. My work primarily consists of auditing large to mid-size companies along with providing tax and consulting services to businesses, professionals and individuals. During the last year I have been transitioning to a more tax focused role within Collins Barrow. I am currently completing my 2nd year of the CPA In-Depth Tax Course (2017).
Why live in Chatham-Kent?
It has given me an opportunity to start a career that has big city appeal in a small community where I grew up. I also enjoy being close to Toronto and Detroit in order to visit or travel out of. Chatham-Kent gives us the best of both worlds as we are close to large metropolitan centres, but live and work in a small community without the big city headaches.
