Where did you grow up?
What was your first job?
Mercer's Gas Station in Wheatley.
What is your favourite Chatham-Kent pastime?
Seeing my family and friends, usually on Sundays back home.
What is your favourite season?
Name an experience that has positively motivated you.
Having national success with my music career has positively motivated me. After ten years of playing local venues and singing cover songs, it was a welcomed change to finally be able to share my original work with fans across Canada.
What did you do after high school?
I went to the University of Waterloo, then to Algonquin College in Ottawa.
What are you doing now? Why did you come back to Chatham-Kent?
I am a paramedic now in Chatham-Kent, and a Canadian Country Recording Artist. In January of 2014, I was signed to a record label who helped distribute my single "Next Weekend" to country stations across Canada. It peaked in the Top 100 on the the charts, which I was very pleased with! A fresh new single goes to radio in January of 2015. I came back to CK because I love my hometown with a passion. I love the small town feel of every community in this county, and how simple the lifestyle is compared to urban areas.
Why live in Chatham-Kent?
CK has a lot to offer both commercially and in agriculture. I has been a wonderful home to me and my family for 30+ years, and I'm sure any newcomers to the county will appreciate the acceptance they will receive. I've been to many places across our country, and would recommend CK to anyone.
