Canoeing

What is your favourite season, and why?

Fall, because I love Hallowe’en and the leaves changing colour.

Name an experience that has positively motivated you?

Every failure I have ever had. I’ve learned that I can get up, dust myself off and keep going.

What did you do after high school?

I attended St. Clair College for journalism, followed by a career as a newspaper reporter for the Wallaceburg News.

What are you doing now?

Working as a constable for the Chatham-Kent Police Service

What surprised you about your move baCK?

How good it felt to be home. I never realized how much I missed it here.

What challenges did you face in moving baCK2CK?

Saying goodbye to a lot of really awesome co-workers. Luckily, coming back, I get to work with a lot of new really awesome co-workers.

What has made you happy about your move baCK?

Living close to my family and friends again.

What advice would you give to someone considering coming baCK2CK?

Don’t give up on coming back home if it is what you want to do. Chatham-Kent is an amazing place to live, with a strong sense of community.

What is your #1 reason for choosing Chatham-Kent as "home"?

The people here. The citizens care about their community. They are compassionate and strive to make Chatham-Kent one of the best places in Ontario to live and work
