Stay at Chatham-Kent's only boutique hotel, Retro Suites, which is located downtown and hosts uniquely themed rooms that are a must see. A short walk away, you will enjoy local craft beer, good food and great conversation at Sons of Kent. The Chatham Capitol Theatre is also located downtown and boasts shows both big and small, sure to please any theatrical or musical palate. In the summer, the downtown is a hub of activity with classic cars lining the streets for RetroFest, transforming Chatham into the Classic Car Capitol of Canada. 

Foodies will love exploring Chatham's restaurant scene, there are many cuisine options to choose from like Spice & Curry Indian Restaurant, Midori SushiChurrascaria Steakhouse to Centro Wood Fire Kitchen. You can easily spend an afternoon patio hopping to try signatures dishes. Chatham is also a centrally located VIA Rail stop, providing you with convenient travel. While there, learn more about the history of railroads at the Chatham Railroad Museum. Close by, the BME Freedom Park and Chatham-Kent Black Historical Society and Black Mecca Museum share the stories of the rich local history of the Underground Railroad. 

With a past as vibrant as its future, Chatham has something for everyone whether touring the seasonally opened Milner House, or taking in the year-round cultural offerings through the Cultural Centre and Chatham-Kent Museum. The Cultural Center also hosts an Imagination Station that keeps kids creating, exploring, and discovering for hours.

Seasonally, you can also curl at the Chatham Granite Club, take in a hockey game, enjoy recreational skating, or cool off at Kingston Park with its large splash pad. You can have a challenging game of golf at the Links of Kent or hike one of the 17 trails in Chatham.  On the outskirts of Chatham, rural roads take you past large open skies and beautiful agricultural landscapes to Early Acres Estate Winery to sample wines and tour the gorgeous vineyard.
