As you head east on Longwoods Road, also known as Highway 2, at the tip of Chatham-Kent, you will come across the historic town of Bothwell. If you are a history buff take a stroll downtown and learn more at the cenotaph and town plaque.

Walk by the home of Bootlegger Distillery, a new craft, high quality vodka. You can also take in a Bothwell Boomtown Players' performance at the Jim Kish Theatre located in the beautiful town hall.
A favourite spot in Bothwell not to be missed whether you are just driving through the area or making a stop is Park's Blueberries. In the summer you can take advantage of their U-Pick blueberries and year round bring home tasty baked goods and treats. They're also now growing strawberries, so be sure to take home a pint of both! Explore their incredible gift shop, enjoy a meal in the café (when operating) or indulge in takeout.
In August, take the family to the Bothwell Car Show and Optifest Weekend. The weekend features a large car corral with hundreds of classic cars and an automotive swap meet. You can take part in kids' activities, enjoy tasty food from a range vendors, listen to live music, and try your luck in the popular Firemen's 50/50 raffle. Be sure to stop in at Joyce Farm Market for fresh produce and baked goods.
At the annual Boothill "Country" Jamboree, you and your friends will have a great time dancing the weekend away to live music. During the winter months, there is so much to enjoy with your family. If you like to spend time choosing the perfect tree every holiday season, then Bothwell has the perfect u-cut Christmas tree location. You can pick and cut the perfect Christmas tree, enjoy rides, play games and roast marshmallows on campfires at Sloan's Christmas Tree Village.
