​Chatham-Kent is filled with holiday cheer this year, and while things may be a little non-traditional due to Covid-19, there are still so many ways to celebrate the spirit of the season! From cutting your own tree and capturing holiday photos to unique boutique shopping and new ways to "visit with Santa", there is plenty taking place across the region.

Activities & Events 

November 18 - 24, Historic Downtown Chatham BIA Home for the Holidays Open House

Enjoy holiday shopping in downtown Chatham as retailers welcome you with specials!  

November 19, Downtown Wallaceburg Holiday Market 

Enjoy holiday shopping from a variety of Wallaceburg area vendors from 4pm - 9pm. You'll find a little bit of everything and a whole lot of holiday spirit! 

November 19 - January 8, Holiday Exhibition and ARTsale

Unique hand crafted items from local artists and artisans plus a great holiday exhibition! It's all taking place at the Chatham Cultural Centre through January 8, 2022

November 20-December 23, Sloan's Christmas Village

This year there are two full villages for you to enjoy with a variety of fun activities and attractions for the whole family. At Village 1 you'll find U-cut and pre-cut trees, campfires and activities and pavilion rentals.  The main village is open November 22 - December 23 from 9am to 4:30pm. At Village 2 you will also find U-cut trees along with a variety of activities including campfires. Village 2 is open on weekends only November 20 to December 12. November 26 - December 1, Chatham Armoury Christmas Market

Eat, drink and shop from 4 - 9pm each day the market is open. More than 100 vendors are gathering together to bring you a unique Christmas Market experience. Santa will be stopping by on the last three nights. There is no charge to get in, and masks and proof of vaccination required (ages 13 and up). More 

November 26 - December 31 , Tilbury Lions Christmas Light Festival

Come experience the excitement and wonder of holiday lights at this free outdoor event. Take a walk through the paved trail with family and friends through the park from 5:30 to 11pm nightly. There are many photo opportunities along the way, so be sure to bring your camera!

November 27, Dresden Shines Christmas Night Market

Browse downtown merchants and local vendors from 3pm - 8pm. This year, the market coincides with Dresden Shines and includes an illumination tour! 

November 27, Active Lifestyle Centre Winter Vendor Show

Enjoy indoor holiday shopping with more than 30 vendors on hand. Gifts, household items, goodies and more! Free admission, masks and proof of vaccination required. 

November 26, Tilbury Drive By Santa Claus Parade

Enjoy a "reverse" Santa Claus Parade, where the floats don't move, you do! Hosted by the Tilbury Auto Mall, spectators drive in their car by and view the spectacular floats from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. 

December 3, Blenheim Stationary Christmas Parade

Santa is coming to Blenheim! You can enjoy this drive by parade starting at 7pm using Allison Road to Pool Road, entering the north end of the Centennial Park parking lot. 

December 3, Bothwell Hometown Holiday in the Square

Join in the festivities at 6:30pm for the three lighting at the town square. At 7pm see Santa and Mrs. Claus, enjoy activities for the kids and caroling. Don't forget to bring your letter for Santa! 

December 3, Sons of Kent Festive Friday Market

Bring your reusable shopping bags and enjoy shopping in the outdoor air. After visiting the many vendors, enjoy a pint on the patio or in the tap room and enjoy tasty food options from a variety of vendors from 4:30pm - 8:30pm. 

December 4, Brio's Holiday Market

Browse through a live outdoor market featuring local vendors and artisans while enjoying great food and performances by young local talent from 11am - 5pm. 

December 4, The Garden Christmas Market

From 3pm - 8pm enjoy cocktails and food while shopping with local vendors and artisans. The Garden on King Patio will be transformed into a beautiful Christmas market for your holiday pleasure!

December 8-11, Chatham Armoury Markets Santa Fest and Armoury in Lights

Tickets are going fast! Two light shows nightly will take place combined with a walk-in festival with holiday fun. The event runs 5p-9p with two light shows at 6p and 8p. Enjoy live bands, food trucks, pony rides, artisan vendors, a cash bar and more! 

December 11, Dresden Stationary Santa Claus Parade

Bring the family out for a unique reverse parade! The floats will be stationary and Santa will be there! Enjoy this event from 5pm - 8pm while a number of restaurants and merchants in the town will be open late for your enjoyment as well. 


Christmas Trees - "U-cut"

Blacksmith and Tin - Visit the Christmas Tree Farm and Christmas store, Saturdays and Sundays from 10-4, November 20th until sold out. Watch for updates on their Facebook page or shop their unique Christmas decor and more on their Etsy page.

Puddleford's Tree Farm -  Cut your own Christmas Tree on this family owned and operated farm located 20 minutes east of Chatham on Scane Road. Enjoy unique gift giving items in their Christmas barn! This year open weekends 10-4:30, November 20 until sold out. All trees are $65 (hst included). 

Sloan's Christmas Village - Cut your own tree, November 20-December 23, where you'll find a huge selection of trees. 

 Watson Christmas Trees - Visit the Christmas Tree Farm, located just 5km west of Chatham in a peaceful setting along the Thames River. All trees are $60, any size, with shake and bail offered, saws and trolleys supplied. Operating hours are daily, November 15 to December 24 until dawn til dusk.
