Downtown Wallaceburg offers unique shopping with stores like Geek N' Things and Goldcoast Fashions. You have amazing restaurants to try for your next date night like The Stubby Goat, The Black Goose Grill, and James Street Eatery. For the curious at heart, the Wallaceburg & District Museum is filled with amazing history and exhibits. The museum is also features the Sports Hall of Fame and the Jeanne Gordon Hall home to the Glasstown Players. You can choose from four hiking trails to enjoy the fresh air, beautiful scenery, have a picnic and can go fishing along Crothers Park Trail. Stop in at Ed's Bait or Eric's Bait Stop for some new fishing gear before you go.

WAMBO is one of Chatham-Kent's annual top attractions. At WAMBO, you can enjoy a full weekend of events like a classic car cruise, Fire Truck parade, live music, kid activities and artisan vendors. Otter Creek Jam Fest is a music lovers' dream and a great time for all. The Wallaceburg Farmers' Market is a great place to find local fruits and vegetables, cheese, bread, baked goods, local honey and handcrafted wares. The market takes place downtown on specific Saturdays from June to September running from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. 

In the summer, the Wallaceburg & District Council for the Arts hosts a free Outdoor Summer Concert Series. The concerts are held on Tuesday nights in Library Park and run mid-June to mid-August from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Bring a lawn chair or blanket (and bug spray).
