Looking for something fun and challenging at the same time? Make a stop at the nine-hole Thames Grove Disc Golf course at the Thames Grove Conservation Area in Chatham.
Disc Golf is similar to traditional golf, except you throw special discs into a basket to move onto the next hole, instead of hitting a ball with a club. Navigating challenges on each hole, you will love the time surrounded by nature at the Thames Grove Conservation Area. Enjoy the beauty of mature trees, walking trails, naturalized areas and the Thames River all while enjoying this sport.
The course is easily walkable with lots of shade available while accessible at the same time. It also takes less time to play than traditional golf, so you enjoy a round and visit other areas of CK in your day.
There's also a Thames Grove Disc Golf league, new in 2021 for those interested.
