Underground Railroad

Follow the North Star road signage to relive some of the most heroic Black history stories ever told. Once considered a destination for freedom seekers, Chatham-Kent was home to some of the most successful Black settlements in Canadian History. Today, three sites contribute to the Chatham-Kent Underground Railroad story.
