What's On 

A local favourite, Sons of Kent Brewing Co is hosting a Family Day weekend record sale on February 18 from 11 am-4 pm with sellers from all over Southwestern Ontario and thousands of records available! On February 20, Chatham Bowlerama will be hosting an epic Family Day "Cosmic Bowl" that you don't want to miss! Whether you're a seasoned pro or first-time bowler, this is the perfect activity to spend quality time together, bond, and create memories. Rondeau Provincial Park Visitor Centre will be opening and they will be hosting a full weekend of fun Family Day programming! 

Discover the arts & culture scene

Chatham-Kent is a community with a rich artistic heritage. From the historic murals and barn quilts that adorn the buildings to the contemporary galleries and studios, there's something for all art-loving families. For contemporary art enthusiasts, Chatham-Kent is home to a vibrant community of artists and artisans. The Thames Art Gallery is a particularly noteworthy destination, showcasing the work of local, regional, and national artists. The gallery also hosts workshops, lectures, and special exhibitions. Make an appointment to visit the Chatham-Kent Museum to trace the courageous story of the National Unity Association's crusade for justice and their determination to end practices of segregation within Chatham-Kent and Ontario, and the ongoing fight for equity in Canada, by exploring the Let Us March on till Victory is Won: The Struggle for Racial Equity in Chatham-Kent and Ontario exhibit. Be sure to get hands-on at the interactive Imagination Station.

Whether you're looking for indoor or outdoor, exciting or relaxing, there's something new for you to try with your family when you visit CK. Book a relaxing sleigh ride or an exhilarating trail ride at TJ Stables to take in the crisp weekend air. Or take advantage of the Free Family Fishing Weekend, no license required, by grabbing a pole and discovering the joys of ice fishing; just make sure to be careful and be aware of the ice conditions. If indoors is more your style, head over to Turns & Tales for an afternoon of board games, books and snacks.  Try your aim at new projected targets, pool tables, and interactive arcade games at Valley Axe Chatham. Chatham-Kent's newest family favourite hot spot Level Up Arcade & Bowling is a must-visit! Level Up features a restaurant and bar, bowling, an arcade, pool, air hockey, and foosball! You're sure to find something super fun to suit every family member!

Be sure to pack your walking/hiking boots, snowshoes and skis when you come for a visit because Chatham-Kent. We are home to two incredible parks; Rondeau Provincial Park and Wheatley Provincial Park as well as many developed trails to explore throughout the Municipality.
