Brainfuse 

Access a library of rich adult learning content (GED) and live, professional assistance in resume/cover letter writing, Canadian citizenship prep, Microsoft Office Essential Skills Series, and more with Brainfuse's Adult Learning Centre. Dream up your next career with eParachute, inspired by the best-selling career guide of all time! Discover your most loved strengths, explore hundreds of potential career paths, and see how well careers match what you love to do most.

Gale Courses

Access interactive, instructor-led online courses for professional development and personal enrichment. In Gale Courses you'll find courses related to test prep, job searching, business writing, computer skills, starting your own business and much more! Gale Courses run for six weeks, with new courses starting every month. After you pass the final exam, you'll receive a certificate of completion by email.

Community Navigators

In partnership with Employment and Social Services, CKPL can help connect you with community services through the Community Navigator program.

The Community Navigator program serves all CKPL patrons through our 11 branch library system - all you need is a library card! With the help of a Community Navigator, CKPL can:

  • assist with completing online forms and applications
  • provide employment support and referrals to employment support agencies
  • help to identify continuing learning opportunities based on your individual needs
