The Literary Angels Program
The Literary Angels Program accepts donations from patrons to purchase library materials in honour of others. A gift from The Literary Angels Program is perfect for those who love books, reading and libraries! Celebrate a special friend or teacher or dedicate a title as a memorial tribute. With a recommended donation of $25.00, staff select an appropriate title. A bookplate identifying the recipient, donor and the occasion will be placed inside the front cover. We will notify the honoree or whomever you desire to inform them of the gift you have made to CKPL so they can borrow the item. Tax receipts for donations over $10.00 are mailed to donors.

Sponsorship & Naming RightsSupport your community while increasing your organization's visibility through sponsorship and naming opportunities at CKPL. Sponsorships help enhance library programs, services and spaces while providing valuable recognition for businesses and community partners. Naming rights offer a unique opportunity to associate your organization with a prominent library asset or space for an extended period. For information on available opportunities, please visit the Municipality of Chatham-Kent's Sponsorship & Naming Rights webpage.
Planned Giving
Donations, bequests and gifts that are given through Planned Giving help to ensure CKPL's ability to provide excellent service to the communities of Chatham-Kent for generations to come. Please see our Gift Acceptance Policy for further information or contact us at 519-354-2940.

Book and Non-Print Donations
Thank you for thinking of Chatham-Kent Public Library and contributing towards putting quality materials on the shelves of your library. We appreciate your donation. Like you, we want to provide the very best books for everyone to use. Although we recognize that some items may be well loved and valuable to you, they are not always appropriate for a library collection. As well, we do not always have enough space to house all the items that we would like which means that we have to make choices about what will go on our shelves. It also costs up to $15 per item to put donated materials in the library. CKPL's Book and Non-Print Donations Guidelines explain how staff decide whether to add a donated item to the library collection. For detailed information on making a donation to CKPL, please review our Gift Acceptance Policy.
