Learn to Play Mahjong

Chatham-Kent Public Library (CKPL) is offering a free four-week Learn to Play Mahjong program for adults  in the Chatham Branch Meeting Room.

Thursday April 4, 11, 18, 25 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm

Friday April 5, 12, 19, 26 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am

Mahjong is a fun and challenging game. With the help of our knowledgeable instructors, you'll be playing like a pro in no time. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to learn a new skill and meet new people in the process!

Space is limited. Attendance at all four sessions is recommended.


Chess Club 

Chatham Branch
Every Tuesday night
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Drop in program. Great opportunity to learn new strategies by playing with different players. All ages and skill levels are welcome. 


Mahjong Club

Come and play the ancient Chinese game of Mahjong at the Chatham branch. Our in-person Mahjong Club takes place every Monday afternoon at 3:00 PM in the first floor meeting room or Cafe area ( if the meeting room booked for other events). This is a free, drop-in program.

Spice Club

Activities at the Merlin Branch

Family Fun Tuesdays

Tuesdays 4pm-7pm

Drop in to play board games, put together puzzles, and have fun with your family!  Different activities each week.

Messy Thursdays

Thursdays 4pm- 7pm 

Lego, Painting, crafting and more! Join us at the Merlin Branch every Thursday for a surprise, probably messy, activity. 


Storytime at the Blenheim Branch

Wednesdays

10:30 am

Songs, rhymes and stories for Children and their caregivers. Best suited for children under 5, all ages are welcome.  Please bring a blanket to sit on. Drop in, no registration required.
