Author Talk with Ray Robertson
Chatham‑Kent Public Library will host an Author Talk with Ray Robertson on Wednesday, April 29, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the Chatham Branch, held in the Library Café.
This free event will feature a moderated conversation with Councillor Alysson Storey about Robertson's latest book, “The Right to Be Wrong," exploring writing, ideas, and the importance of intellectual curiosity and respectful dialogue. An audience Q&A and book signing will follow.
Light refreshments will be served, with assistance from the Library Café.
The event is supported by the Hydro One Community Benefits Fund.
Local Author Reading with Yejide Kilanko at Chatham Branch
Chatham-Kent Public Library invites the community to spend the morning with local author Yejide Kilanko for a special reading and conversation on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 10:00 am at Chatham Branch.
Yejide Kilanko is a Nigerian Canadian fiction writer living in Chatham-Kent. She will read from her latest book, “What the Eyes See". Written as a picture book for children, the story explores themes of perception, empathy, and understanding that will resonate with readers of all ages. A conversation with the author will follow the reading, with opportunities for audience questions.
This program is free to attend and offered with funding support from the Canada Council for the Arts through The Writers' Union of Canada. No registration is required.
