Registration is not required. Simply drop by the Library Café on Wednesday mornings from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. While in the café, you can also treat yourself to a hot or cold drink and a tasty snack if you like!
Project Bookmark Canada Unveiling Honouring Lori Lansens

Join us at Chatham Branch for a special Project Bookmark Canada plaque unveiling celebrating bestselling Canadian novelist and screenwriter Lori Lansens, who was born and raised in Chatham. The event will feature a reading by Lori, remarks from project supporters and community partners, and the unveiling of a plaque recognizing her literary contribution and local connection. Following the ceremony, guests are invited to enjoy refreshments and browse a collection of Lori's works.
This free event is open to all community members. Come celebrate the enduring legacy of one of Canada's bestselling authors and learn more about the stories that connect literature to place.

Want to participate? Drop your puzzles off to Chatham Branch during library open hours the week of November 16 to November 20. Staff will provide you with a voucher for each puzzle to return on Saturday, November 21 to select your new-to-you puzzles. We are looking for puzzles in good condition, with all their pieces and in strong boxes.
Make a Will Month: An Information Session

Join us to celebrate November as "Make A Will" Month by attending a free legal information workshop presented by lawyer Brad Langford in partnership with the Ontario Bar Association. Learn the significance of having a will, the value of estate planning and the importance of Powers of Attorney. Registration is not required.
Mahjong ClubCome and play the ancient Chinese game of Mahjong at the Chatham branch. Our in-person Mahjong Club takes place every Monday afternoon at 2:00 PM in the first floor Cafe area. This is a free, drop-in program.
