Registration is not required. Simply drop by the Library Café on Wednesday mornings from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. While in the café, you can also treat yourself to a hot or cold drink and a tasty snack if you like!
Chatham Branch Puzzle Swap
Calling all puzzles in Chatham-Kent! Drop off your puzzles during open library hours - November 3 to November 7 and receive a voucher to return on Saturday, November 8 between 10:00 am and 11:00 am to select new puzzles.
To participate the puzzles must be in good condition with all their pieces and in strong boxes. This is a quick event, so be prepared with your bags to pick and go. This free event is open to all ages.
Chatham Branch Fall Pop-Up Book Sale
Chatham-Kent Public Library is hosting a Fall Pop-Up Book Sale at Chatham Branch, in the Community Living Café, between Monday, November 17 and Saturday, November 22, while supplies last. The sale is available during open hours. For library hours, please visit ckpl.ca or call 519.354.2940.
This is a great opportunity to stock up for the winter and possibly get some holiday shopping done as well, as there is a large selection of items to choose from! Please bring your own bag. All proceeds from the sale will support library programs and services.
Make a Will Month: An Information Session

Join us to celebrate November as "Make A Will" Month by attending a free legal information workshop presented by lawyer Brad Langford in partnership with the Ontario Bar Association. Learn the significance of having a will, the value of estate planning and the importance of Powers of Attorney. Registration not required.

Spice Club
This is a free monthly program that will promise to add a bit of SPICE to your life! Each month, those registered will receive a Spice Club kit that includes:
- information about and the history of each spice
- two recipes to try
- sample of the spice to use in the recipes.
Spice Club members are invited to try the recipes at home, and on the last Tuesday of each month, we will meet virtually on Zoom to discuss the history and uses of each spice and share how we enjoyed cooking with the spice. Space for this program is limited and registration is required. Check our Program Calendar for more information and call 519-627-5292 to register.
Mahjong Club
Come and play the ancient Chinese game of Mahjong at the Chatham branch. Our in-person Mahjong Club takes place every Monday afternoon at 3:00 PM in the first floor meeting room or Cafe area ( if the meeting room booked for other events). This is a free, drop-in program.
Adult Colouring
Are you looking for a creative outlet? Need some time to escape the everyday? All supplies provided. Come alone or bring a friend. Drop-in. Open to all ages and all skill levels.
