Join us Wednesday mornings for a different caper each week. Some activities will be challenging, others will get you crafting and still others will be relaxing and fun!

Registration is not required. Simply drop by the Library Café on Wednesday mornings from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. While in the café, you can also treat yourself to a hot or cold drink and a tasty snack if you like!
A Fun Afternoon of "Catan"
Looking to keep your mind sharp and meet new friends? Come and learn the world-famous board game "Catan" with Sam!
It's not just a game, it's a wonderful way to:
- be social: trade resources like wool, brick, and grain with fellow players. "Catan" is highly interactive and full of laughter!
- make new friends: connect with other like-minded people in CK in a fun, relaxed setting
- exercise your brain: practice strategic thinking and resource management

Chatham Branch Plant Swap

Chatham Branch Community Living Cafe
Drop-off for plants will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The swap will begin at 11:00 am sharp. When preparing your plants to swap please make sure they are in containers that will make it easy to transport them. Members of the Chatham Horticultural Society will be here to questions about the plants you have and plants and their care. Take this opportunity to learn about what the Chatham Horticultural Society does for our community and learn the benefits of becoming a member. CKPL will display some of our vast gardening collection and share information about our upcoming Seed Library as well!

Spice Club
This is a free monthly program that will promise to add a bit of SPICE to your life! Each month, those registered will receive a Spice Club kit that includes:
- information about and the history of each spice
- two recipes to try
- sample of the spice to use in the recipes.
Spice Club members are invited to try the recipes at home, and on the last Tuesday of each month, we will meet virtually on Zoom to discuss the history and uses of each spice and share how we enjoyed cooking with the spice. Space for this program is limited and registration is required. Check our Program Calendar for more information and call 519-627-5292 to register.
Mahjong Club
Come and play the ancient Chinese game of Mahjong at the Chatham branch. Our in-person Mahjong Club takes place every Monday afternoon at 3:00 PM in the first floor meeting room or Cafe area ( if the meeting room booked for other events). This is a free, drop-in program.
Adult Colouring
Are you looking for a creative outlet? Need some time to escape the everyday? All supplies provided. Come alone or bring a friend. Drop-in. Open to all ages and all skill levels.
