Home Service

Can't make it into a library branch due to age, illness, disability or mobility challenges? Home Service is here to help all Chatham-Kent residents enjoy library resources with the help of family, friends and volunteers!

Simply sign up for Home Service, create a personal reading profile and we do the rest. Specific titles, authors and subjects of interest may be requested. Your requests are then picked up by a family member, friend or one of our library volunteers and delivered to your home.

Materials borrowed are due back in 60 days. Renewals are possible as long as no one else is waiting for the title. There are no fines charged for print materials, play-a-ways, music CDs and books on CD returned late, however, there is a charge for lost or damaged materials.

DVDs, magazines and high-demand materials may be requested, but they will have to be returned by their regular due date and are not available for return through the Home Service program.
