Storytime Partnership with Sydenham Curling Club

Chatham-Kent Public Library’s Wallaceburg Branch is excited to announce a special ‘Learn to Curl’ storytime in partnership with the Sydenham Community Curling Club (SCCC).

“Learn to Curl” storytime will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm and is directed toward children ages five to eight, but all are welcome. This program will take place at the Sydenham Community Curling Club, located at 7379 N River Line in Wallaceburg.

An interactive storytime will be followed by an opportunity for kids to learn the basics of curling on the ice with an SCCC’s Little Rocks instructor. Only children between the ages of five and thirteen, with a signed waiver, will be permitted on the ice. Children who are going on the ice must also have clean indoor shoes and a helmet.

Activities will be available for younger siblings or those who do not want to go on the ice.

For more information or to register, call 519-627-5292 or contact your local library branch.
