Chatham-Kent Public Library patrons now have access to a new, free digital resource available through the Virtual Library on our website, www.ckpl.ca!
Developed especially for public libraries, CBC Corner is a digital portal that brings together CBC & Radio-Canada’s audio, video and news content to keep patrons updated on Canadian stories and information. Content is updated throughout the day and can be accessed in both French & English.
As part of this resource, educators and parents have access to content specifically created for children. Content can be limited to information for children by choosing “Kids” under the “Subjects” heading. This will display content from CBC Kids and CBC Kids News which includes articles, games, quizzes, videos, and more!
- CBC Kids provides educational and entertaining content specifically for kids.
- CBC Kids News provides news made by kids for kids.
