How it works
Mitacs works with you on a project-by-project basis. Depending on the scope of your projects, investment in research and development can run from thousands of dollars to millions of dollars and one way to leverage that investment is to seek funding. Mitacs can help. No matter the size of the project, Mitacs can work with you to ensure your budget goes further.
To help maximize your project, Mitacs is offering a three to one investment ratio. What this means is that if you invest $3750 into your project, they will match it $11,250 for a project total of $15,000. They are also fast-tracking COVID-19 project approval timelines.
They are the key link between industry and post-secondary institutions, driving collaborations at home and abroad to develop projects which solve business challenges, and develop the nation's innovation capacity. Mitacs is passionate about developing the next generation of researchers helping to fuel Canada's knowledge-based economy.
"We will continue to focus on our core operations and established programs, while pivoting to combat COVID-19. Mitacs is committed to supporting partners to develop innovative solutions for Canada—and the world." ~ John Hepburn, CEO and Scientific Director, Mitacs
