Comments on the cause: Fire crews from Station #9 – Bothwell, Station #8 – Thamesville responded to 29737 Zone 7 Rd, Bothwell for a reported structure fire at 8:39am on February 16. Upon their arrival, they confirmed a fully engulfed mobile home with an attached garage and addon buildings along with a camping trailer. The camping trailer on the property was already collapsed from the fire when crews arrived and unfortunately, two dogs perished inside. The tenets of the trailers were not injured. Fire crews worked to control the fire operating a 3-tanker shuttle. Heavy equipment was eventually brought to the scene to pull apart the collapsed structure and complete fire extinguishment. Public works assisted with clearing roads and salting in a rotation following the tanker shuttles. EMS and HydroOne were also on the scene. No Injuries were reported Cause Undetermined
