Comments on incident/response: Crews from Station #1, #2 – Chatham and #7 – Chatham South responded to 838 Grand Ave E for a detached garage fire just before 7pm this evening. Pumper 1, Ladder 2, CK 1, CK 5, Pumper 7, Tanker 7 and Rescue 7 were all on scene. The cause undetermined. Damages are estimated at $60 000. No injuries reported. Chatham- Kent Police were also on scene.
