Cause: Under Investigation

Comments on cause: Chatham – Kent Fire & Rescue was dispatched to 27856 St. Clair Road just before 1:30pm this afternoon. They arrived at a detached garage fire. Station #3 – Wallaceburg (full-time and volunteer), Station #2 – Chatham were all on scene with the assistance Station #4 – Dover and Station #5 – Tupperville for water shuttle. The Command Unit, 1-13 responded. Crews are currently conducting overhaul and looking for hotspots. There were no injuries to report and the fire is under investigation by CKFR Investigators.
