Comments on cause: CK Fire and Rescue was dispatched just before 8am this morning to a garage fire at 26 William St. in Merlin. Stations #17 – Merlin, Station #16 – Raleigh South, Station #19 – Tilbury we all on scene. One male was taken to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with serious injuries and has been transferred to a burn unit. CK Fire Investigators are currently on scene and the Office of Fire Marshal is also attending. The fire is under investigation and no future details will be released at this time. Units on scene: 17-11, 17-12, 17-13, 19-11, 19-13, 19-14, 16-11, 16-13, CK3 & CK1
