Comments on incident/response: On March 22, 2025 at 10:33 pm, crews from Station’s #4 - Dover, #2 - Chatham, #3 - Wallaceburg and #5 - Tupperville responded for a large structure fire at 7436 Mallard Line. Station #4 was first on scene and encountered a large detached steel clad shed (80 x 40) fully involved. Four large fuel tanks were cooled. Due to collapse, the fire was deep seated and needed extensive overhaul to extinguish the fire. Full station responses from Station #4 and #5, aerial support from Station #2, and tanker support from Station #3. A three tanker water shuttle was established to feed 2-14. A total of 30 firefighters were on scene as well as CKPS, CK EMS, gas, hydro, and Clark’s Escavating. No reported injuries. Cause undetermined.
