General Change or Reset Your Password

If you have previously added a recovery email to your account:

  1. Sign out if you are currently signed in
  2. On the sign in screen, select "Forgot your password?"
  3. Enter your Employee Number and Postal Code
  4. A password reset link will be emailed to your recovery email. Remember to check your junk/spam folder if you have not received the email after a few minutes.
  5. Follow the link to reset your password

If you have not yet added a recovery email to your account:

  1. Contact Employee Self-Service Support Staff by email: ckpayroll@chatham-kent.ca or phone: 519.352.3888 and request a password reset
  2. They will ask you a series of security questions in order to verify your identity
  3. After they have verified your identity, they will provide you with a temporary password
  4. Log in using your temporary password and follow the on-screen instructions to change your password

Please note that Employee Self-Service Support Staff will only be available during regular business hours.

General Find Your New Employee Number

With the release of the ERP system, all former Employee numbers have been updated.

Your new Employee number is essentially your former number plus 100 000 in order to make it 6-digits long.

Examples:

  • Former Employee number: "1234", new Employee number: "101234"
  • Former Employee number: "12345", new Employee number: "112345"

General Update Your Email Address

You can update your your personal e-mail so you will be able to reset your password at any time, even outside of regular business hours!

  1. On the site's top bar, visit your My Profile page
  2. Under the "Email" heading, select "Update Email"
  3. Enter your email address twice and click "Update Email"
  4. A message will be sent to your email address to verify your email
  5. Click on the verification link found in the email to activate and finalize your email change
  6. Your new email will now be visible on your My Profile page

Troubleshooting:

  • If you cannot locate the verification email in your inbox, try checking your junk/spam folder
  • You can re-send or cancel the pending email change by visiting your My Profile page and selecting "View Pending" under the "Email" heading

Mobile Access From Your Mobile Device

You can access CK Employee Self-Service from your mobile device browser using the same URL that you use on your computer.

Mobile Add a Shortcut to Your Homescreen

You can add a shortcut icon to your homescreen much like an app for easier access.

  1. Navigate to the CK Employee Self-Service homepage in your mobile browser
  2. Tap the menu/action button and choose "Add to Homescreen"
  3. Enter the name you would like to be displayed on your shortcut
  4. Tap "Add"
  5. You can now access CK Employee Self-Service from your homescreen like any other app

Desktop Add a Shortcut to Your Desktop

You can add a shortcut icon to your desktop or taskbar for easier access. These instructions may differ depending on your browser.

  1. Navigate to the CK Employee Self-Service homepage
  2. In your browser's address bar, locate the small icon to the left of the URL
  3. Drag the icon to an empty spot on your desktop or taskbar to create a shortcut
  4. You can now access the CK Employee Self-Service from your desktop

Desktop Print Your Paystub

You can print any of your available paystubs for your personal records.

  1. From the CK Employee Self-Service home, click on "Pay History"
  2. Select the pay stub you wish to print
  3. Use the "Print" button on the bottom-right hand corner of the page to open your browsers print dialog
  4. Ensure your print settings are correct and click on the "Print" button in the dialog to print your paystub
