This season, we invite you to explore scenic trails blanketed in autumn hues, pick the perfect freshly baked cookie, taste seasonal offerings at our craft breweries and find your way through corn mazes. Whether you are enjoying a drive through the winding-rural roads and admiring the late turning of the fall leaves, or basking in the Southwestern Ontario sun and still wearing shorts in September, Chatham-Kent turns up the fun in the fall.

​Fall is the perfect time to indulge in warm, comforting bakery treats that celebrate the flavours of the season. From spiced cookies and pumpkin muffins to flaky apple turnovers and buttery pecan pies, you'll find an abundance of treats on the VisitCK Bakery Trail​. Whether you are stopping in for a sweet treat or warm beverage after a scenic drive or grabbing goodies for a fall gathering, you'll find no shortage of delicious and decadent dessert options. Each location on the Bakery Trail​ offers something unique, so don't be afraid to try them all! ​

​Chatham-Kent's craft beer scene is as vibrant as the brightly coloured leaves turning in the fall. From smooth amber ales and spiced pumpkin lagers to creative harvest-inspired creations, each stop on the brewery trail brings a new flavour to discover. 

  • Bayside Brewing Co. (Erieau) - Sip on craft beers while basking in the golden hues of Rondeau Bay nestled in the historic lakeside village of Erieau. This welcoming brewery features a cozy patio atmosphere, wood-fired pizza and seasonal brews. Whether you are winding down a scenic fall drive or gathering with friends amid the turning leaves, Bayside's lakeside charm and flavourful provide an unforgettable seasonal experience. 
  • Glasstown Brewing Co.​ (Wallaceburg) - A visit to Glasstown in the fall is a delight for the senses, as you sip on freshly crafted amber ales or rich stouts on their riverside patio as the leaves shift colour. Warm wood-fired pizza and artisnal charcuterie boards are perfectly complemented with live music in the crisp autumn air. Home to the final leg of BrewFest CK 2025, "RiverFest" takes place on September 13, where all four breweries come together to create an unforgettable evening. 
  • Red Barn Brewing Co.​ (Blenheim) - Step into a cozy countryside retreat at Red Barn. Nestled on a third-generation family farm, the iconic red barn welcomes you with a spacious patio complete with fire pits this fall. Inside, a rotating tap list of more than a dozen crafted beers are featured from hearty porters and crisp fall ales. Bring your friends for the warmth, community and harvest-flavoured cheer. 
  • Sons of Kent Brewing Co.​ (Chatham)​ - Cozy vibes blend perfectly with craft beer at Sons of Kent. Housed in a beautifully restored cinema in downtown Chatham, the taproom's warm wood finishes and scenic "Backyard" patio complete with fire pits and twinkling lights create an inviting setting. Fall is especially exciting her with Oktoberfest taking over the outdoor space with traditional Bavarian Fare, live music and an exclusive malty Vienna-style lager, perfect for the season. ​​

Fall is a season of exploration, and there is no better place to lose yourself in autumn's magic than a corn maze. Chatham-Kent boasts two such mazes, both with distinct features you won't want to miss. Wander through towering golden stalks, feel the crisp breeze and try to solve the twists and turns with friends and family, great for all ages! 

iMaze​ (Thamesville) - Enjoy a festive adventure for families and explorers alike. This 10-acre corn maze, uniquely redesigned each year, offers a big challenge and smaller maze, perfect for the little ones. Beyond winding through corn paths, you can hunt for the perfect pumpkin while taking a wagon-ride, leap on the Jumbo Jumper and even hurl pumpkins with the cannon. Families will love the play areas, and corn sandbox! It's a perfect way to start or end a fall day in CK. 

Umiland​ (Morpeth) - A twist to the classic autumn adventure, break out your smartphone to guide you through an 8-acre labyrinth filled with augmented-reality surprises. You'll stumble upon an interactive alien crash site and digital creatures from the planet UMI - all part of this part corn maze, part outdoor AR game. ​​
