Brainfuse App Now Available
Enjoy free live online homework help, engaging games, practice tests, and endless learning opportunities—wherever you are! With just an internet connection and your library card, access live tutoring from any device! Brainfuse tutors are available every day from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
Students can also submit questions and writing assignments at any time of the day and Brainfuse tutors will send an expert reply within 24 hours.
Brainfuse offers online supports for learners of all ages. Visit the Adult Learning Center to access High School Equivalency prep, Canadian Citizenship test prep, resume assistance, Microsoft Office support, and Career Resources. Adult learner can also connect with online tutors, submit questions and get writing help through the Writing Lab.

Hoopla Updates
You may have noticed that Hoopla has been very popular recently! CKPL will be making some adjustments in our Hoopla app to provide a more sustainable and fair borrowing experience for all library patrons.
- Increased investment- more funds being allocated to Hoopla to meet growing demand.
- No Request Feature in-app- you will still have access to both Instant and Flex titles. However, the request feature will no longer be available. If you would like to suggest a title to be purchased digitally, please use CKPL’s Purchase Suggestion Form.
- Adjusted borrowing limits- monthly borrowing limit changing from 10 titles per month to 8. Don’t worry, Bonus Borrows do not count towards this limit! CKPL also offers above average borrowing limits compared to many other Ontario libraries that offer Hoopla.
- Digital Magazines on Libby- BingePasses will still be available with the exception of digital magazines. CKPL has an extensive collection of instant-borrow magazines through Libby.

NextReads Newsletters are genre and subject-based reading lists emailed directly to your inbox. Each title is linked to the library catalogue so you can access more information and place a hold easily.
CKPL offers twenty-three different newsletters so there is something for everyone! Sign up for them all or choose what piques your interest. Newsletters topics include Must-Read Books, Coming Soon, Kids and Tweens, Teen Scene, Fantasy and Science Fiction, Picture Books, Romance, and so many more.
