Enjoy Good Ol' Holiday Traditions at Ridge House!
Open December 1-23, 2018 from 1-5PM daily
Christmas Open House December 8, 2018 from 1-5PM (after Ridgetown Santa Claus Parade)
We are decking our halls and trimming our tree, and when those sleigh bells start jingling, let them bring you to our door. The sights, sounds, and scents of the Christmas season will have you singing glad tidings while you get to know the origins of all your favourite holiday traditions with our friendly costumed guides.
Join us on December 8 for one of our favourite holiday traditions, the Ridge House Museum Christmas Open House. Come and warm up after the Ridgetown Santa Claus Parade by sipping on hot apple cider. While you are here, get into the festive spirit by decorating gingerbread cookies, stringing popcorn, and making Victorian ornaments. The Chatham-Kent Public Library: Ridgetown Branch will be joining us from 2:00PM-2:30PM to tell some Christmas stories and fingerplays too!
All activities are free for the whole family. No registration is required, just drop in and enjoy!
