CK International Film Festival at the Kiwanis Theatre October 26, 2019

This is the first year of the Chatham-Kent International Film Festival and it's starting with a bang. Submissions from all over the world have come in and the best are being selected for screening on October 26th at the Kiwanis Theatre. A meet-and-greet is also planned the Friday evening before, and an award ceremony the Sunday after, both at Jazzbah. Details will be provided at a later date.

Last Call follows a suicidal alcoholic on the anniversary of his son's death. When he attempts to call a crisis hotline, a misdial connects him with a single mother working as the night janitor at a local community college. The split screen feature showcases both characters in real-time as they navigate a life-changing conversation.
