The engineering consultant has provided a Transportation Master Plan Draft Study Design which outlines the purpose of the TMP and the process by which the document will be compiled. This document is available in download section.
Community Cafe - February 21, 2019
A Community Cafe has been scheduled for Thursday February 21, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Red Line Room at the Thames Campus Arena (999 Grand Ave West) in the Community of Chatham. The Thames Campus Arena and the Red Line Room located on the second floor is fully accessible. Public Information Centre #1A - Saturday June 22, 2019 - Chatham Retrofest
The Municipality of Chatham-Kent Engineering and Transportation Division, along with BT Engineering Inc., will be hosting a Transportation Master Plan Public Information Centre (PIC) on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Civic Centre in the Community of Chatham. The PIC will be located on the front patio at the Civic Centre and held during the Retrofest Classic Car Show.
Everyone is welcome to visit the table and display board setup by the front doors of the Civic Centre review items currently being considered for inclusion in the Transportation Master Plan and review preliminary tech memos that will also form part of the final document. This will be an opportunity to add comments and feedback before the final draft document is produced.

Public Information Centre #2 - Tuesday November 19, 2019 - Chatham
The Municipality of Chatham-Kent Engineering and Transportation Division, along with BT Engineering Inc., will be hosting a Transportation Master Plan (TMP) Public Information Centre (PIC) on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The PIC will be held in Room 1B of the Bradley Centre, located at 565 Richmond Street in the Community of Chatham. The official notice is available in the download section on this webpage.
The TMP is being conducted as a Master Plan project under the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (2007), as amended in 2015. The Study will complete Phases 1 and 2 of the Class EA Process by establishing the need and justification for the projects, policies and programs, considering all reasonable alternatives with acceptable effects on the natural, social and cultural environments, and proactively involving the public.
The second Public Information Centre (PIC) is being held to present the potential transportation projects, policies and programs currently included in the draft, and provide an opportunity for public feedback. The Final Study Design Report, which describes study approach, study process and public consultation program of the TMP, is available in the download section on this webpage.
