The EA Study will document existing conditions, engage key stakeholders and the general public and review the potential alternative solutions.
The objectives of the first PIC held on October 5, 2017 were to:
Introduce the Rose Beach Line Slope Stability Municipal Class EA Study;
Provide an overview of the EA planning process;
Present the EA Study’s problems and opportunities and the evaluation of alternative solutions for Rose Beach Line, including the PRELIMINARY recommended solution;
Share work conducted to-date; and
Gather feedback from the public regarding the design alternatives and preliminary recommended solution and outline the next steps of the study.
Following the PIC, the study team will review and consider all comments in the evaluation of alternative solutions. The recommended solution will be presentated at PIC #2, tentatively scheduled for April 2018.
PIC #2 is being held on Wednesday May 2, 2018. It is being held to present additional alternatives and a revised evaluation of previous alternatives. At this meeting you will be able to view display boards, speak with study team members and give us your input. There will also be a formal presentation.
