The Municipality of Chatham-Kent works hard to keep our roads safe and clear of snow and ice. Plow Tracker shows Municipal and contractor plows working together to clear roads. On other days, or if a significant snow event is forecasted, Plow Tracker may show Municipal plows doing preventative winter road maintenance like using salt and brine to keep the roads clear of ice.

Use the map to help you find out when roads have been salted and plowed in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. The buttons at the bottom of your screen allow you to see where vehicles have been for the past 2, 4, 12 or 24 hours. The road colour indicates the time range in which your street was last serviced by the selected vehicle. The routes of the vehicles are displayed for the selected time period. The map also displays the real-time location of salters and plows. You can zoom, pan, and change to satellite view. The Overview option will zoom you back out to the full extent of the map.
